What kind of information does port radio communicate to ships?

All information sent to ships by port radio is for the purpose of ship and port safety. Specifically, in the same way as traffic information for vehicles on an expressway, information about the navigation of other ships and marine construction work, along with information about tugboats and line handling companies necessary for berthing safely, is provided. Warnings to ships in danger and advice about the entry/departure order of ships during busy times etc. are also sent. The purpose of information provided by port radio is a combination of navigational safety and efficient operation.
In order to provide this information, we collate and organize port-related data from various organizations and companies, such as port management bodies, shipping agents, line handling companies, etc., in advance, and compare that data with the actual movement of the ships.
